Jaws Nelson
Jaws Nelson is a New York-based choreographer, movement director and fitness model.
Jaws directs fitness photo shoots and commercials with elite athletes. Every day on her set people are jumping, running, boxing, sweating – so the design team wanted to build a brand that felt just as powerful.
The design system is built around a two-tone palette, with neon green punching through a black, gritty background, and entirely sharp edges, with no curves or softened page transitions. By using glitchy, glowing headlines and dynamic photography (a stray hair across her face, a soft shake of her head) the team sought to capture movement even in static layouts.
